In this issue we will explain how we know that the computer 32 or 64-bit for Windows.
The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer's processor processes the information. The 64-bit version of Windows handles large amounts of RAM (random access memory) more efficiently than the 32-bit version. Follow the steps in the sections below to see if your computer is running the 32-bit or 64-bit edition of windows and what version of Windows is installed on your computer.
Computers running Windows XP
Click Start, then right-click My Computer and select Properties.
If "x64 Edition" appears under System, you use the 64-bit version of Windows XP.
If "x32 Edition" does not appear in the system, you use the 32-bit version of Windows XP.
The edition of windows xp you're running is displayed under System on top of the window.
Computers running Windows Vista or Windows 7
Click DémarrerImage Start button, click with the right mouse click Computer and select Properties.
If "64-bit Operating System" appears next to System type, it means that you are running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.
If "32-bit Operating System" appears next to System type, it means that you are running the 32-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Merci pour l'effort, evidement, on a toujours besoin de connaitre son système pour la simple raison que certains logiciels ou applications insistent sur la nature du système. Encore un grand merci même si l'explication est fournie en anglais.
